For your consideration is this sweet cherub-faced tin head doll by Minerva. The doll measures 9 ¼” tall. Her head is metal and has paint chip loss in various parts. She has her right hand, but the right arm leather has broken and lost its sawdust. Sadly, she has lost her left hand. The leather kid body is soft and supple and in general good condition. The head is firmly attached to the body. The front of the head is marked “Minerva” and the back is marked “Germany” with a O. This is the marking for Buschow & Beck, a major metal head doll manufacturer between 1900-1930. She is currently wearing a white machine-stitched dress.
