I am excited to bring you pieces from the fine collection of Millie Beal who has been collecting miniatures for the past 77 years (since she was six years old) spanning from the early 1900\'s through the early 1990\'s. Some of you may even know Millie since she is the former owner of two Miniature Shops ~ Pooh Bear Miniatures in Sequim Washington and another Shop that was located in Bishop California. She has enjoyed these items for many years and is happy to know they will be going to collectors who will continue to cherish them.

As I go through these things she is sending me, I can see herlifelong passion for miniatures and how she saved her moneyso that she could add that\"special\" piece. Millie was also an artist in herown right. If she wanted something and couldn\'t afford it, she would MAKE IT herself. She has completed fourteen dollhouses in her lifetime. \"Lady of the Lake\" (the one all these items are coming out of) is her last one. One of her fondest remembrances is being complemented by renown dollhouse maker Noel Thomas on her work.

WONDERFUL sewing cabinet by IGMA Fellow artist Carol Hardy. Three drawers with the fronts divided to hold spools of thread. Clear plastic on the fronts so you can see the thread without opening the drawers. The spools are wood with assorted color thread and are removable. Behind the divider you can store other items.
