Presented here is an 8 1/2\" long tin battery operated Lincon Fire Chief car made by Mizuno Toys of Japan in the 1950s. Called an Electromobile, the car cloesely resembles a 1952 Lincoln Cosmopolitan four door very clean and in good original condition. It is in full working condition as well. The fire engine red paint has a smooth as glass luster. There is an indentation in the roof from pressue on the light. Slight paint loss at the edge of indentation can also be seen. With exception of one other small ding in rood there are no other dents or dings on the car. Only a couple small chips mar the otherwise beautiful red finish. Polished trim all shines like chrome with some typical age tarnish to be seen on hubcaps and assorted spots on trim. Plastic window \"glass\" is crystal clear and still held firmly in place. Colorful cardboard litho interior is clean and bright. Rubber tires are all flawless with no cracks or flat spots. Glossy light green base has no wear. Battery box is antiseptic clean and still retains the original battery removal strap. Battery door and latch work easily as they should. Operating on one D cell battery, a switch on drivers door operates forward or backward motion while a switch on passenger door operates either the roof mounted emergency light or rear turn signals. One switch on base is to release catch for battery door, the other is to direct front wheels which can be set in a left and right alternating motion or straight ahead direction. When the turn signals are set, each will light up as car makes a turn in either direction. The car must be set and run on smooth floor for alternating steering and signal function to work. A wonderful and unique tinplate toy car that would be a welcome addition to any collection! You can\'t go wrong with my low, low starting offer and .........as always.

Electrically operated toys can be temperamental, and buyers must remember these toys are all very old. Jostling during during shipment may affect operation of toy. I can honestly attest to proper operation of toy only at time of description. No guarantee is given after delivery.
Your item will be securely packaged for a safe journey, but protective shipping coverage is offered and strongly recommended as I accept no responsibility for item once it is mailed. Delivery confirmation is included on every domestic shipment to insure the package arrives at it\'s destination. For international shipments priority airmail or first class are both offered. Shipping charges are fixed as is shipping method. A slight handling charge is built in to cover shipping room costs and help. I do not skimp on packing. I am a collector as well as a dealer, and many times have been chagrined to open a box and find a rare vintage toy broken en route. Not due to postal misuse, but by poor and insensitive wrapping. You will not receive toys packed like this from me. All my items are thoughtfully and carefully packed as though I would be mailing them to myself. Prices are set by size and weight. USPS Priority Mail dimensional weight rates will now apply for certain large packages shipped to select zones within the U.S. Priority Mail can be very expensive with an oversize package, as many of my toys require, therefore for those larger items I use Parcel Post which is just as safe and almost as fast.
