LARGE Modern Abstract Contemporary Lucite Acrylic Sculpture
Sensational Thick Lucite Sculpture created using several different complementary
colors of lucite within shiny clear lucite.
This piece features sharp angles &/or edges & a chiseled texture effect
along the carved out area.
The previous owner referred to this piece as a \"shark bite\"
Very similar in style and design to Artist Michael George\'s
infamous intersection acrylic sculptures.
This sculpture also has similar features to Shlomi Haziza\'s
Purple Rain Acrylic Sculptures.
This piece appears to be unsigned, however due to the exceptionally high quality of the work, as well as, materials utilized, it must have been made by one of the well known acrylic designers (i.e. George Michael, Will Grant, Haziza etc...)
Regardless of it\'s designer, this piece is STUNNING!!!
Pictures certainly don\'t do it the justice it deserves!
The sculpture\'s hues of blue colors come together at times and promote purple hues!
(this unique effect is barely caught via camera- nor could the
true beautiful blue coloration. The colors appear darker in the photographs)
This piece can\'t be truly appreciated until seen in person, for it is
difficult to capture the different color combinations the sculpture can display
just by slightly turning the piece.
We can promise you will be pleasantly surprised
with this piece once seen in person!
This piece displays exceptionally well & is certain to be a conversation piece.
It does have a few minor surface scratches.
There is a very small area with a bubble, that is smooth to the touch.
Neither of these minor issues should be considered a deterrentfrom purchasing.
For they Certainly don\'t take away from how beautifully
this sculpture displays as can be depicted by it\'s photographs.The chiselled area might have some dirt/dust within the indentations
therefore one might want to clean these areas, this decision will
be left up to it\'s new owner.
