Lovely modernist sterling silver wine cup / goblet, fully hallmarked for London 1971.
This is a very elegant silver goblet made in London in 1971 by C J Vander.
The goblet has a curved polished rim above fine chased \'bark effect\' decoration around the body with a matching band around the bottom rim.
The goblet is 3-1/4 inches / 82 mm in diametre and it stands 5 inches / 127 mm high. Made of thick gauge silver, it weighs an impressive 257 grams.
The goblet has clear hallmarks - lion passant, London mark, letter q for 1971 and maker\'s mark CJVLtd for C J Vander.
The goblet is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair.
