DESCRIPTIONVintage c. 1990 earrings by Florida jewelry artist Wolf Dosch. One of Dosch’s specialties is interesting use of mixed metals, and these earrings have that in spades. These gigantic earrings are abstract in shape and each is set with a piece of copper within a sterling silver frame. The copper is slightly concave and it has an oxidized textured surface. Additionally, it is decorated with striations of silver and splotches of gold for an intriguing mixed metal effect. Each is also set with a square green tourmaline stone in a 14K yellow gold bezel. The walls of the silver frames feature various textures, and the earrings have flat silver backings with clip findings (the clips have foam comfort pads you can remove if desired). Because of the hollow construction, they are not too heavy to wear. These amazing one-of-a-kind earrings are like small (well, not that small...) sculptures for your ears!

CONDITIONOverall excellent, one of the stones has a small bite on one corner that I did not notice until I photographed the earrings. It will not be seen when worn.
