Molnija- rare vintage USSR Russian original legendary men\'s pocket watch -include chain which use for pocket wearing. The watch is produced at the Molnija Military watch factory, wherealso made:instrument panel clocks for MiG, aircraft and submarines. The factory was established on November 17, 1947. The watch has a movement analogous ROLEX 1930-1940’s. The creation of this outstanding mechanism was clearly inspired by the legendary ROLEX Cal.5513 in1930-1940\'s and is highly valued nowadays by the watch collectors and watch enthusiasts. If you know of saw - ROLEX Cal. 5513 you will notice some striking similarities, such as: very large screw balance wheel, fine timing regulation mechanism, plate’s layout, large and powerful mainspring, oversize jeweled stones, etc. This pocketwatch has ART DECO metal chrome caseand the back cover have -ART DECOENGRAVEDraised patternWood-Grouseandcones.Caliber of mechanism: 3602 and 18 Jewels.Mechanism has been recently serviced by one of the best watchmakers in my city and it have fully working condition.Dome glass is plastic (Plexiglas).This pocket watch comes to our time in good status and was very well saved - if considering.Approximate sizes:
