Up for sale; I have, what is believed to be a 1953 Monark. Front label reads \"MFD by Monark silver King Inc, Chicago USA.\" Identification tag below crank reads \"model number 640 A Serial number 1539987.\" Tires are like new condition, size 26 x 2.125 Bontrager Cruiser B. Back tube does leak and tires are mounted in the wrong rotating direction. Seat bar seems to be stuck and seat clamp seems to be opened excessively, \'as found.\' Front fender support bar a little bent, as pictured. Research points to serial numbers 1387524 - 1762369 to be 1953, but not certain. Petals appear to be Schwinn, as pictured. Back Hub reads \"New Departure, model D made in the USA.\" Also has leather strap with beading around rear hub. Bike has a Springer front end. Handlebars are loose, it appears to just need tightened. A couple dings in fenders and other than seat missing, it appears to be in rideable condition. Be certain, WE ARE IN NO WAY EXPERTS ON THIS ITEM.
