As you can see in picture 1, this kit was shrink wrapped until today when I took the pictures.
It was clearly stored in a very damp basement, as there is sever water damage, including mold staining, to the packaging.
The plastic parts are fine except for the gold plated nose cone. It\'s been rubbing against some of the other parts in the box since 1993 so got pretty scratched up in one spot as shown in picture 7.
There are some other \"anomalies\" in the gold finish from age and condition of storage, but nothing compared to the scratches. I try to show you that in picture 8 but really couldn\'t get a decent shot due to glare, reflection, and the fact that it\'s light stuff hard to get pics of in any case.
The decals. The decal sheet is actually a sticker sheet that you have to cut around the sticker before application. They\'re still plenty sticky, though a little wrinkled / warped, but they should flatten out once applied. There is molding on the paper on the back of them as shown in picture 10.
I do have some other spacecraft for sale in other sales. I can combine shipping, but PLEASE, contact me before offerding with your zip code and the ones you are interested in to get rates first. It may be a huge box so may not be bad for New England, but very restrictive (price wise) for parts south and west. It may be a \"balloon\" rate, defeating the purpose of combined shipping.

I\'ve been getting complaints for the west coast and down south about shipping. I make nothing on shipping, in fact, signature confirmation comes out of mypocket, and if it\'s Parcel Post, insurance also comes out of my pocket. I can\'t help what the carriers charge for shipping, and I can\'t help that you\'re so many miles away. If you check my response, you\'ll see I use extra car packing you product so it arrivessafely. When I was offering free shipping for the Gemini Jets and model trains, they mostly went to California, Texas, some even Alaska & Hawaii, which is the reason I had to stop free shipping. My complaint is the same as yours.....it\'s just too expensive! PLUS, I sell my stuff CHEAP, most times cheaper that anyone else on . If you are unhaapy with the shipping cost, just do what I do.......but somewhere else. I want your business, but I can\'t help what the shipping carriers charge, and I\'m not going to have you end up with your purchases broken or damaged due to shoddy packing. Don\'t take my word for it, check out my response, the folks love my care in packing.
