Launched in2002, this edition is to commemorate one of the most important philanthropistof his time.

Also known asa steel tycoon who donated his fortune on cultural foundations and libraries.

The fountainpen is made of black resin with a 925 silver framework effect. The clip alsomade from 925 silver depicts a figure of a lady with butterfly wings. The nibis made from rhodium plated 18k gold with a flower symbol to commemorate thegreat man.

Each Montblanc LimitedEdition writing instrument is meticulously crafter from the finest materials.Every single part is subjected to scrupulous inspection. Montblanc guaranteesthe quality of the materials, faultless workmanship and flawless operation.

The item has been in my possession since its launch.The item has been opened for viewing purposes and the pen has never beenused/inked or dipped. The item comes with all documentation and (unstamped)warranty card. The pen still comes in its original commemorative wooden lacquered case and the protectivecase which shows signs of ageing.
