I received this Mont Blanc pen as a business gift in the late 1980’s. The twist mechanism works well. It does have an ink cartridge that does write. I include the original box with the instruction manual and guarantee. This was kept as a souvenir…thus pen was not actively used. There are minor scratches, but no dents or cracks. “Germany” is engraved on the clip ring. Because of its vintage, the pen does not have a serial number. A jeweler/dealer inspected the pen and confirmed its authenticity. She emphasized that the lettering on the ring (see photograph) was indeed engraved by the Mont Blanc manufacturer.
