This is an absolutely brand new pen in its box with the bar code sticker and the instruction manual. It had never been opened until today when I took these photos. It was a corporate gift I bought last holiday season here in Beverly Hills and then never sent out to the intended recipient! The pen has never been used or handled except to take these photos. This pen is extremely hard to come by and an instant Mont Blanc collector\'s item due to the fancy black pattern and platinum appearance. A timeless and gorgeous writing instrument.

100% authentic, purchased new at retail by me. The pen of course has its micro-etched laser serial number visible on the pen cap.

Black rubber finish with diamond-cut lines and platinum-plated rings and clip. The transparent top of the cap encases a floating Montblanc white star. The Starwalker Fineliner has a porous point that creates a precise, lasting script. Model 8856.

The outer cream colored box has a few minor scrapes and runs from storage.
