Estate find! I purchased this lovely doll from a lavish estate in Nashville, TN. The owner was a lifetime collector of high-end antique dolls from France and Germany. Her collection included many rare and one of a kind Marseille, Swaine, Marotte, Kestner, Halbig, and Heubach.This is a beautifully crafted, antique jointed, bisque head doll with glass eyes and an open mouth, from her collection. This doll is clearly stamped MB Japan. I am not a doll expert or collector. This doll has multiple layers of clothing (petticoat, undergarments). I did NOT fully undress this doll due to all the layers. Her body feels structurally sound but it was not visually inspected due to all of the clothing. This baby measures approximately 21\" in length. I have not made any attempt to clean this doll and will leave that to the new owner. Please judge all condition issues (if any) from the photographs provided. This is an antique toy and may show signs of play or wear in the form of marks, scratches, rips, tears, fading, chips, missing parts etc. Please see my other antique dolls and toys available.
