In Ancient Celtic lore, it is told that she would fly over battlefields in the form of a raven, crow, or blackbird and foretell the outcomes of battles. At the end of the battle, the soldiers would switfly depart the field in order to allow Morrigan to claim the newly dead as trophies, known as \"Morrigan\'s acorn crop.\"
