1940\'s Original Vintage Mosaic Tile Co. \"Mammy\" Cookie Jar.The Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville, Ohio, was started by Karl Langerbeck and Herman Mueller in 1894. Mosaic Tile\'s mammy cookie jars are rather rare, they only made one, but in different colors, and in certain color varieties it\'s extremely rare. This original mammy cookie jar is 13 1/2 inches tall and is wearing a yellow dress with a turban-like head covering.
This is a vintage original that has been in the family for 70+ years, I still remember getting grandma\'s cookies from it. There are NO chips but is some crackling of the glaze at part of the bottom (see photos) and is also a hairline crack on the back (again see photos)PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ITEM CAN NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL AFTER JULY 13TH AS I WILL BE OUT OF TOWN UNTIL THEN.
