RARE Moser Glass Vase with White Enameled Classical Figures on Cabochons

This Vase has been authenticated by an Art Glass Expert as genuine Moser Art Glass...

...and will be recognized by Moser Collectors as being very Rare.

The Vase is RARE because of the \"Mary Gregory\" Style white enameling on the Cabochon Blank....a term used only to help in the description...

.....As it was called \"Lace de Boheme Cameo\" when introduced in 1880, and quite successfully competed with the more expensive English Cameo.

Moser completed production of this style in 1895.

An example of this work is on page 92 of Collectible Bohemian Glass by Robert and Deborah Truitt....

The Vase is 8 1/2\" high on a 6 paneled base which is NOT hollow, but quite thick.....2 7/8\" in diameter.

The 6-paneled sides extend up to a 1 7/8\" diameter neck....

The Glass is Clear....

...the heavy Yellow Enameled grape clusters amid etched leaves...so completely covers the surface...that one would think the Glass is Yellow....

Three raised Cabochons, outlined with gold, each decorated with White Enameled Classical figures.

Gold Retention is about 98% to the base rim and neck....while only traces of gold remain around the grape clusters and vines....

The White Enameled Figures look Beautiful!! As does the Yellow enamel.

A finely polished pontil is encased in a second layer of glass....Very Fine!!!
