VINTAGE MODEL 6H26-S-1 MOTOROLA FULL POWER AUTOMATIC RECORD PLAYER. POWERFUL MULTI-6V6 PUSH PULL TUBE AMP. Has a large power transformer and a huge 40 WATT output transformer. Legs ARE included.

POWER CONSUMPTION RATING: 125 WATTS.

There is a RCA female input jack for iPod, iPhone, computer, CD player or other low voltage digital device input by means of included G2 mono iPod adapter.

POWERFUL 6 TUBE AMPLIFIED

High Fidelity full range, 3 way speaker system inside case. Huge 8\" Bass speaker, and 2 x 4\" mid-range / tweeters. Also has a 1/4\" female output jack on the back of the amp chassis for an external speaker.

ELECTRONICALLY AND MECHANICALLY RESTORED.

MODEL: 6H26-S-1

Measures approx. 24\"W x 23\"D x 13\"H. Legs add about 16 to height. With legs attached, height is about 29-30\"tall.

BEAUTIFUL and in EXCELLENT condition physically, electronically and mechanically, MOTOROLA,SUITCASE PORTABLE. Not so portable as player is very large and heavy at about 55 lbs.

Sound is beautiful, tubeamplified, Hi-Fidelity, full, deep, rich and clean musicality.

AMPLIFIER:

Tube Amplified AUDIO with 5Y3, 12AU7, 12AU7, 6AU6, 6V6, 6V6 tubes that all tested strong and sound sweet.
New electrolytic power filter capacitors have been installed to eliminate virtually all AC hum and noise.
All old wax tubular capacitors replaced with new ceramic capacitors.
All resistors tested and out of tolerance resistors replaced.
A female, gold plated RCA jack has been installed for digital device input. (G-2 mono iPod adapter is also included)
Has a 1/4\" female output jack on the back of the amp chassis for an external speaker.
Controls: Power, Volume, Bass, Treble, cleaned and lubricated.
There is a RCA female output jack on the back of the amplifier to plug an external speaker into.

MECHANISM AND MOTOR:

Motor rebuilt, completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated with turbine oil and reassembled.
New rubber motor mounts have replaced the old aged ones.
Mechanism completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled to function like new. All moving parts calibrated to manufacturers specifications.
4 speed manual transmission cleaned and lubricated: 16, 33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM
Idler wheel replaced with fresh to provide plenty of friction and drive to platter and mechanism.

AUDIO PICKUP

Old Mono cartridge replaced with a NEW STEREO CARTRIDGE with a Diamond tip stereo needle. Will play both stereo and mono records.

STANDARD FEATURES:

Sturdy, comfortable handle carries weight of portable suitcase enclosed record player with ease. Case is very heavy.
Has 4 rubber feet to rest on and protect furniture while playing on a table.
Every visible removable screw was removed, cleaned, polished or painted and reinstalled.
All claps, hinges, handles,hardware in clean repainted and excellent working condition (some lighttarnish and pitting in areas).
Comes with automatic 45 spindle adapter that has storage clasp to retain, when not in use, above control panel inside case.
Case features a beautiful original covering, refinished in burnt/orange and verdant tone colors. The caseis in great condition. There are some scuffs, scratches, age and use marks. (item is vintage an not new)
Has a 1/4\" female output jack on the back of the amp chassis for an external speaker.

There is a G-2, iPod adapter included with this item as well.

GENERAL CONDITION NOTE: This is a used, vintage record playerwith speakers. It is not NEW. It has minor scuffs, scratches, stains, age, use marks. Thiscase is in great original condition though it has been cleaned, and refinished in area\'swith just a few light scuff and scratches and NO visible stains or unusual damage. I have done my best to photograph or and bring attention to any substantial physical or operational discrepancy in the item.

It is my passion to bring you the very finest restoration I can. My quest to explore, diagnose, repair and service electronic and mechanical devices began when I was 7 years old. I\'d get up very early, everyday in the Summer and on Saturday mornings during the school year. I\'d take my Huffy bicycle around TV service and electronic repair store rubbish areas. I\'d hit the trash cans of neighbors, industrial and retail centers, collecting interesting specimens of electronic chassis and motor driven gizmos, to dissect, study and organize. In my teens I built and studied projects from Heathkit and other schematics featured in Mechanics Illustrated, Electronics Illustrated and similar related publications. In the Navy I went to school, studied and worked as an Aviation Electrician repairing and servicing military aircraft. Now that I\'m retired, I still love to tinker with electronic and mechanical devices. If the item is old and moves, engages, lights up, or makes sound, I am driven to dismantle, clean, readjust and rebuild the device. I have several radios, record players, amplifiers, and color wheels that I will be restoring over the next several years. My goal is to make these old, vintage devices function like new again.
