Antique decorative door knob and BACK PLATE with cylinder lock measures 12\" high and 3-1/2\" wide. Has ornate round gothic designs, reminiscent on those you might find on an old church. Texture on the flat part. Has been polished and mounted on a board for display; was purchased from a dealer that set up at antique shows in the Chicago area in the 1970\'s (their card is attached to the back). Has a sawtooth hanger attached at the top of the backside. Unknown if the plate is marked on the backside.Door plate has some light wear and small dark spots consistent with use and age (seen in tenth and eleventh photos). Knob has some surface marks in the center (ninth photo). Board it\'s mounted on has some wear and light scratches, edge wear and some splits on ends. Door knob does not turn.
