Inline drag racing / street racing Hurst style Mr. Gasket shifter – Mr. Gasket Vertigate / V-Gate / Vertical Gate shifter 4 Speed Shifter, (or a Ram Rod shifter). Shift action is nice and tight. Chrome part of shifters have surface rust, scuffs, and scratches as shown in pictures. T handle has scratches and scuffs as pictured. This unit appears to have been on a Saginaw 4 speed transmission, or a transmission that has reverse lever on the main case. Includes linkage with rods and tabs as shown with mounting bracket. The reverse rod appears to have been cut and an extension welded on. One of the tabs has some cutting/welding to one side of it, but no modification to the tab hole. Mounting bracket has been trimmed one one corner. The rod that pulls up to allow the shifter back into 1st or 2nd has been repaired (welded to the U shaped bracket) as shown in picture. Shifter works great for racing or hard street driving applications, never miss a shift - Hard to find discontinued item.
