This cookie jar is from Christmas 2014 time frame. It contained Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies. The original advertising card is included. There are no cookies in the jar. You are only buying the jar.
This jar says Treats on one side. It\'s nice because you can use it for anything really.
There are three small imperfections in the jar that I found. Two on the lid. There are two ripples? for lack of better words on the inside lid. It does not affect the presence and function in any way. It is slightly noticeable in the first two photos of the lid alone. The third picture show a little white fleck of ceramic you can feel as a \"sharp\" bump. It was fired this way. I would not try to pick it off. It is what it is.
The last imperfection is in the jar. I took a yellow stick note and have an arrow pointing to a small depression in the jar.
None of the imperfections are chips or cracks of any kind. It was just minor flaws from production. The jar was created to have an old appearance. It was glazed to appear crazed.
With the lid on the jar measures close to 7 1/2 inches tall. It is about 6\" wide.
The lid has a removable soft plastic liner. It will not make an air tight seal. It just helps keep the lid for falling off, keeping a gentle seal and banging so hard when you put the lid back on.
The bottom of the jar says it is dishwasher safe. I have only hand washed it.
