PLEASE READ AND VIEW PICTURES!!!You are looking ata Vintage 1960s MSA Topguard Fire Helmet. This Helmet looks like new and possibly New Old Stock that has never been used. There is absolutely no signs of use whatsoever. Any imperfections are just from sitting around for almost 50 years. The Chin Strap and liner look unused, inside info sticker looks perfect and exterior is immaculate. Popular in the 1960s through the 1970s this helmet was seen on TVs Emergency and Squad 51. This Helmet would look great in your Mancave or change out the front and get an LA 51 front (available in repro here on ). The Cairns Leather Front Piece is from Oakhurst Fire Dept and in perfect shape. The Leaf is stenciled. I know a Fireman from Oakhurst and he confirmed for me that they did use this leaf on the front in the 1960-70s, It did get stenciled on and these helmets were also used back then.
