This beautiful Victorian Hand Blown and Hand Painted Water Pitcher which Stands 8 1/4\" Tall comes from a Estate sale and was Attributed to Mt. Washington. It certainly has all the characteristics of a Mt. Washington piece. There is no doubt it is Victorian due to the style and construction. It is hand blown and has a ground pontil, and a beautiful ribbed applied handle. The hand painted Floral decoration is of Fuschias. The Opal Glass looks to have a very thin overlay of light pink glass which has worn off or been scratched in some places, but this does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece (SEE pictures). There are no Chips, No Cracks and No Fleabites which is amazing for a piece this age which was used in every day life back at the turn of the 19th century. A wonderful edition to any antique glass collection.
