It has been tested to make sure it works, and is set for a three-way bulb. There are some tiny air bubbles in the glass. The skinny part of the neck has some vertical grooves from when it was made. There are some small glass shards that rest at the bottom of the interior. Both the glass and base are about 6\" wide. The base is made from a thin piece of metal, so it\'s made in the style of Murano, but not an original. I would think an original would have a heavier base. The felt on the bottom makes the lamp not even while sitting on the table, due to one side coming off the edge. It could be replaced, or taken off entirely.
