An important museum piece this glorious Brussels net Needle lace Point De Gaze collar.

It is a work of art and the lace is saturated throughout the piece. Very ornate design.

A floral pattern.

This fine piece comes from a Connecticut estate.

The lady of this estate had exquisite fine lace pieces in her home.

There are several photos posted so you can see the woman in her younger years. Also, one in her later years.

I love the photos where she is smiling. She appeared to be a happy person and took many photos and in different outfits.

Measurements: Outer edge is 76 inches, inner neck line 41 inches and width a tad under 6 inches.

A few small holes and break along the edge. Light age spotting.

An off white to cream color.

It appears like it wasn\'t ever used because there\'s some basting threads that can be removed.

Photos are not included, but I would be willing to send you copies. Possibly you can have one original.

I have listed and will be listing more fine lace from this estate.

We also have the family name which will be given to the new owner of this exquisite piece of lace.
