Museum Deserving Ernst Wahliss Vase w/ Rare Early Mark and Saurian Handles Vienna

Description: I have for your consideration another one of my \'shelf sitters\' that I must part with. This particular vase is definite museum worthy. Quintessential Victorian. Elegant, pierced mouth complete with hand applied winged saurian creatures as handles. Saurian\'s are cobalt blue and grey in color, glossy glaze with gold gilt highlighting. The body of this vase is a beautiful ivory color. The featured décor is a bird perched on a limb. The tree is present below and to the left of the bird. Hand painted. Reminds me of an oil painting. There are also areas on the body that have been decorated with small random cobalt blue dots with gold raised enamel outlines. This vase is definitely an earlier Wahliss piece and really demonstrates Stellmacher influences. Although, Wahliss being a distributor of fine porcelain, who knows who actually manufactured the piece. It is fine Vienna porcelain anyway you look at it though.

A major acquisition for the discernible Amphora or Wahliss collector.

There is also a hand written very tiny what looks like Made in Austria. Looks like was an afterthought; is not applied as part of the backstamp itself.
I may be mistaken and it may be artist signature. Is difficult to discern, even with magnifying glass. I do not own a loop; guess I should.

Height Almost 9 3/4\"
Diameter of mouth 2 3/4\" x 4 3/4\"
Diameter of base 3 1/4\"
Width at widest part 6 1/2\" at handles

Condition: Rings true!! No restoration. No cracks. Tiny rough spot on rim high point with gold loss. 1/16\" in size. Rest of mouth is smooth. No repairs noted to handles which we all know is nothing less than a miracle itself!
