The most amazing Chinese silk textile embroidery decorated with birds of paradise with micro needle workmanship. The silk is so finely made it looks like a painting. The silk is the background of the Rose wood mirror which is on a large auspicious cloud base. The silk is antique possibly 18th Century or early 19th Century. The overall condition for its age is excellent considering how fragile silk is. The silk has age appropriate damage. Please carefully look at the pictures. The total height of the mirror on the stand is 20 1/2 inches tall and the face diameter of the silk is 12 1/2 inches. The silk is also signed possible Imperial.
