I have re-created this pretty one of a kindCHILDS / KIDS size chairThe chair is vintage OLD (they don\'t make \'em like this anymore)...SUPER solid hardwood, it totally deserved a new look since it was so sturdy and well made!It measures approx. 20\" H x 12\" W x 10\" D...again, CHILD sizeIt would add a sweet accent to powder room, sun room, covered porch, or anywhere it works
I also painted a little concrete bunny to go along with the chairHe is a perfect lime green, and has an attached bow made from Mackenzie Childs ribbonI also added a petite sprig of a pretty light coral flowerBunny measures 6\" H x 4\" W, at widest point
I painted the chair in a pretty yellow...subtle and not too bright!I intentionally left some distinct distressed ~ rustic ~ shabby chic nuances throughout, to maintain its vintage identityI then hand painted the top area in artsy B&W checks with complimenting colors layered for interest & dimension(This section is not decoupaged...checks are painted)The seat IS decoupaged, collage style, with colorful botanical images, and I also added some butterfly & flower transfers to embellish it a bit further
The decorated areas have 3 coats of a professional grade semi-gloss sealer for protectionAlthough this is WELL SEALED, It is an interior piece due to the decoupageIt may be used exterior only in a dry / covered / protected setting
Wood shows surface grain & textureBecause this is hand painted, you will see variations & brushstrokes as opposed to a manufactured piece :)Mackenzie Childs Flower pot not included ~ Shown for size perspective & decorating idea :)
Care Instructions: Wipe clean with damp cloth. Do not submerge.
