NASA Glass Transparency - Apollo 11 - Aldrin Walking Description NASA transparency # 69-HC-683 showing Astronaut Buzz Aldren walking on the moon with the Lunar Lander in the background. Photo taken by Neil Armstrong. Measures 4 X 3 1/4 inches with foil edges. The actual image is 2 1/8 X 2 1/2 inches. It appears that the positive image is sandwiched between glass panels. Glass needs cleaning and has a crack in the glass on one side. Photos taken to show the entire glass slide got bounce-back from the background and will look blurred.
