NAVAJO STERLING SILVER BEAD NAJA NECKLACE BISBEE BLUE TURQUOISE:
$1800.00
The Naja on this necklace has an interesting meaning...a meaning that many do not understand...it is the horseshoe shaped design at the bottom of this necklace initially placed on the bridles of horses believed by the Navajo peoples to \"keep evil away\" or to keep the horse from \"seeing evil\" so to keep the horse and rider \"safe\". Now that you know of the Naja\'s meaning..now you can fully understand why this necklace is so sought after by those who wear them....As it is beautiful and unique....<br />So it later was placed on jewelry/necklaces to keep the wearer \"safe\". This Navajo necklace is 1970\'s sterling silver with Bisbee Blue Turquoise and handmade beads. The necklace has a nice quality weight not too heavy and not too light. End to end this necklace measures 15\" clasped. Naja measures 2 1/4\"H x 2 1/2\"W. Bisbee Blue stone measures 3/4\"H x 1/2\"W. Necklace is not signed. \"Bisbee Blue\" is not \"Bisbee\" Turquoise.
