35 millimeter photograph NEGATIVES. There are also many 4-inch by 5-inch NEGATIVES within. Also two and a quarter by 2 & a quarter inch. Over 600 envelopes. Dated with subject, photographer name, developing instructions, etc. There is an average of 4 strips per envelope. 6 images per strip. At this estimate, there are 14,400 images in this lot. There are often 10-20, strips per envelope. Sometimes there will only be one.. Iowa in general, sometimes beyond. Beautiful, professional PRESS photos, from some very talented individuals.1962,1963,1966 1967. Various months,various subjects. You will see including, but not limited to: Politics, protests, car wrecks, local high school and university sports of all types. fires, flooding, and tornado damage. Bank robberies,champion livestock, symposiums, fires and firemen , hold ups, military and police officers, Junior achievers. Weather Art, quilting circles, headshots, beloved pets, walks in the park (with and without muggings),vicious dogs, irate neighbors,beauty queens, old Coots, irreverent teens , holy types. Agriculture (this is Iowa) , architecture, governors and legislators, fisherman, seedy crimimals and the crime scenes they leave behind. Buildings going up, buildings coming down, those far-out sixties fashions. Everybody is driving what are now classic cars. Small Midwest towns, Americana throughout. Black and white film.
