The answer is different for most people, but for me itis simply, it draws out the detailof complex and art intensive designs.Take a look atany of my coins in proof and antiquefinishes, and I believe you will find that the design \"pops\" in comparison.So my personal preference has developed into the embelishments offered by antiquing.This does not diminish the value of the piece, quite the contrary, it adds value.
