For sale is aNEW Les Must de Cartier vintage 1970s playing cards deck. The deck is in the original plastic packaging, which has torn a little and can be seen in the pictures. However, the cards have never been used.
History of the cards:
Between 1972 and 1976 Cartier was re-branded under the new name Les Must de Cartier. Many of the watches and jewelry that were made during these years carried this new name. In 1976 the company was repurchased by the former owners and the concept of Les Must de Cartier was ended after only four years.However, during these years, Cartier sold these rare playing cards decks to wealthy individuals for $500 per set and featured 18 ct gold gilted corners. Clearly these cards are no longer for sale in any Cartier stores worldwide and make a great addition to any collection.
