The RC2 is a slightly nicer shock than the Van / Vanilla. It has compression and rebound adjustment with the addition of adjustable bottom out pressure. There is an air valve on the piggyback. You can add or remove air to control the bottom out. Van does not have bottom out / BoostValve adjustability.
