Sweet 14109 1/144 General Motors FM-2 Wildcat US WW2 Fighter + Flight Deck This sale’s for one open kit (i.e. unsealed when I purchased it) containing Wildcat kit as shown, along with a plastic flight deck section and seven of the bizarre little cat creatures shown on the box top as deck crew, with all parts still safely sealed within their inner bag. This is a beautiful little model of the FM-2 and includes a basic interior with cast-in rear bulkhead and seat, and two drop tanks. External detail is engraved and very refined, gear wells are blocked in (actually, with single-piece wings, they\'re simply engraved) and landing gear is much more delicate-looking than I epxected in a kit in this scale. Decals, in new condition (they look foggy in the bag because of the protective paper covering them), provide national insignia for about three aircraft and aircraft markings for eight aircraft, half in blue/blue grey/white camouFlage and half in overall blue. Also included are wheel chocks (Sweet markets a line of flight deck panels for display) and another cat creature for display with the finished model (I would have preferred a nice air crew figure or six...) This model builds up very nicely (and easily); if you model or game in this scale and have *any* interest in the air war at sea, you need this kit. Box is in new condition and the kit\'s lived its entire life in a smoke-free house.
