This vintage hand carved wooden cuckoo clock is NEW in its original shipping box and was never used. No dust inside- very clean see photos. After many years it probably needs a \"tune up\" to get going. (Being SOLD AS IS) From an estate, this clock was apparently shipped back to the US from Ireland as a gift and never used. All brown with beautiful birds. The side birds have red eyes. Face is roman numerals. This clock is a stunning piece of workmanship.
Interior says REGULA. A25-84. Also states zero (0) jewels. A. Schneider Sohne and then numbers: GM 1884288 and 1892176 appear on the clock mechanism. Also says made in WEST GERMANY.
***Someone has inquired if this is a one day or eight day clock?? - I\'m not sure. Also it is a typical size cuckoo clock- not a mini.And I am not sure if I include the pendulum? I think it\'s an 8 day clock based on the size of the weights and the length of the chain. I am not a clock expert! Pendulum measures about 7 inches by itself with the clip.
DIMENSIONS: It is approximately 12 inches long, top of birds to bottom (without pendulum), about 8 inches wide, and about 5 1/2 inches in depth.
