Complete set of a Montblanc piston filler fountainpen with its complimenting ballpoint pen. The pens are from between 1960-1970this was the meisterstuck of its day. The pens are the top quality and the shortnumber indicates that it was one of the most valuable pens in the day.

In 1959 the complete line was redesigned. The 142,144, and146 where discontinued. The pens became slimmer and fitted with a new nib, the“butterfly”, called because of its distinctive shape. Between the 1960’s-1970’sthe no.12, 14, and 72 where the top pens made by Montblanc! As far as collectorpens go these three pens are among the most sought after for that time periodand the best quality. This is a rare chance to own the complete pen set withthe original case and paper.

This pen is in stunning shape, the pen is new, inexcellent overall condition. The pen has been handled so I can’t say that itscompletely mint, with no signs what so ever of usage. The pen has the originalnib size sticker on the pen.

The pen is in very good cosmetic condition, the niband writing system are fully functional and tested.
