This is a new trade paperback play script that was published in Canada by Playwrights Canada Press. This copy is from the first edition printing in January 1999. There are 104 pages. The front cover photograph shows actor Ross Manson in the 1998 Blyth Festival production of Yesteryear.

Yesteryear is a comedy set at a hardware store in Saskatoon in 1948. It is performed onstage by 7 men and 3 women.

An earlier version of Yesteryear by Joanna McClelland Glass premiered in Toronto in 1989. This script is a revised version that premiered in 1998 in Blyth, Ontario. There has never been a major New York production of Yesteryear.
