NEWLYN ARTS & CRAFTS COPPER JUG HAND BEATEN CORMORANT SEA BIRD MARINE:

This is for anice original old Newlyn Arts and Crafts copper jug from the turn of the last century. It is tapered and shows a cormorant bird on the two sides and a sun setting on the front. The dome lid is hinged with a finger grip and it has a pointed flap that fits over the pointed spout. The handle has the usual rivet detailing typical of this era and the base is marked 'Newlyn'. It is inexcellent condition with no dings ordents, noholes, cracksor splits, all its original rivetsand a lovely warm patina to the copper, there is a little play in the rivet that hold the lidbut thats all. It measures 75mm (3") square at the baseand stands 165mm(6.5") tall.
