This sale is fora figurine from the 'Pretty Ladies' range by Royal Doulton. This figure is for Christmas Day 2012 and is called 'A Christmas Gift'. The figure is made from fine bone china hand decorated and shows a young woman wearing a reddress with maroon colored frills. Over this she is wearing a short green coat trimmed with gilt. She has dark brown hair arranged in a bun decorated with poinsetta flowers and is carrying a parcel wrapped in green decorated with a red ribbon trimmed with gilt.The figure stands 7'' high and measures5 and 3/8'' from side to side and 4 and 1/2'' from back to front. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flakes or loss of paintwork. The base is marked as shown. The figure comes in the Royal Doulton box as shown.
