Up for offeris a nice 1947 Montgomery Ward Airline Model 64BR-1503B tube radio. Theexterior case measures approximately 10 ½ inches long by 6 inches wide by 7inches tall. I have not tested the radio, so it is being sold as is. Assumethat some repair work will be needed. Overall the radio is in decent to goodcondition. The exterior is dirty and dusty throughout and shows heavy surfacescratching, scuffing and wear throughout. There are two cracks on the rightside of the case, one of which is approximately 2 ½ inches long and the otherof which is approximately 2 inches long. Both of the original knobs are presenton the front of the radio. The plastic cover over the front dial shows heavysurface yellowing throughout and some light to moderate warping along thecenter. The original hard cardboard panel is present on the back of the radiobut is in poor condition. All of the corners show moderate chipping throughout.The surface of the panel shows moderate to heavy discoloration throughout andshows moderate to heavy bending/warping throughout. All four of the cornersecuring brackets are present. The interior of the radio is dirty and dustythroughout but looks to be complete with all parts and other components. Onlyone of the three mounting bolts to attach the interior mechanism to the base ofthe case is present and therefore the interior mechanism is quite loose andwill need to be secured. The power cord is in poor condition with heavyfraying, damage and black paint residue throughout and should be replaced. Seepictures for a better idea of condition.
