This is a good example of a French 19th Century Carriage Coach Driver\'s Tunic. It is constructed of dark blue wool which is accentuated with a black velvet collar and brick red trim. All 20 original buttons remain present and are adorned with a crown upon their face and marked by the maker on their backsides. The Tunic has a little mothing and could use a bit of cleaning otherwise has survived in good serviceable condition. Measuring from shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18 inches across and from the top of the collar to the hem edge 36 inches.
