Before you read thisdescription, I want to let you, as well as my loyal followers know that, due toa prolonged illness, I have hundreds of items ready to list, but for thedescriptions. So that I may list all my items swiftly, I will be minimizing mydescriptions. PLEASE, as noted below, view the pictures! I take many so youwill see the whole item up for offer – and ask questions if you need to – I will respondquickly to them!

Description: This sale is for four (4)different sewing or personal use scissors. One has marks, which tend to signifyit as sterling silver. The others have small, impressed words, which I’ll tryand decipher.

1.Twoscissors. The first has exquisitely detailed repousse finger holes, and appearsto be a personal use scissor. The little screw at the intersection of theblades is somewhat loose, but can be tightened easily. On one side near thescrew is the impressed mark ‘HSB & Co. / Germany.’ The reverse has ‘O.V.B’impressed on it. The scissors are in excellent condition and could use a goodcleaning. They measure approximately 4-1/2 inches long and approximately 2 inchesat the widest. The second pair of scissors is shaped like a bird, with thebeaks as the blades. The ‘eye’ is the screw. There are no marks, but it isimpressed with minute design details. It is in excellent condition, but needs agood cleaning. The scissors measure approximately 3-1/2 inches long andapproximately 1-5/8 inches long and approximately 1-5/8 inches at the widest.

2.This pairhas designed finger holes with ‘joint’ rests at the center. The blades arestraight, so these are probably sewing scissors. Above the screw on one side isimpressed with a logo ofinterlocking letters, and the reverse side is impressed with Unger Bros. / Germany. Thescissors are in excellent condition – again, they could use a good cleaning.The scissors measures approximately 3-3/4 inches long and approximately 1-1/2inches at the widest.

3.This pairof scissors appears to be for personal use. They have a ‘snakeskin’-likepattern on both sides. Somehow, they appear Art Deco in design. One side by thescrew the words ‘LaCross’ with a Swiss cross next to it. Underneath thiswriting is impress ‘313-50.’ The reverse side is not impressed. These need aslight cleaning. They measure approximately 3-1/2 inches long and approximately1-5/8 inches at the widest.

Also included is a pair of repousse work tweezers.
