This listing is for a lovely pair of 19th CenturyRoyal Vienna \"Beehive\" gorgeous urns have beautifulhand painteddecorationfeaturing two large oval medallions on front and back of vase and four smaller oval medallions around the sides of the square bases. Portraits feature various scenes of seatedfemales with cherub figures.The medallions are accented with elaborate gilt borders against a dark cobalt blue ground.Intricatedetails in the enameling and gilding are superb.
The vase has gilt handles and gilt bands around the upper rim and base. We are unsure whether theyoriginally had a lid, however, they are stunning as shown.
This stunningset is in excellentcondition with no noted damage, although one of the vasesdoes sit slightly off center (see photos) - no other noted flaws.
Measure7\"high with a top opening on the vase of 1 3/4\" and the bases are3 1/8\"square.The arms span 3 3/4\"wide.
Each piece is marked withthe Royal Vienna \"Beehive\" stamp.
