Hi folks, this would have originally been used with a thumb latch lock. But one of the previous owners removed the protruding tab on the back and used it as a distinctive heavy duty door pull. It has the normal dings and scratches from age and usage. This has also been painted a few times in it life and it has some remnants of that still on it. A very nicely styled and aged handle from about the 1940s – 1950s. It’s about 10 7/8” long with plenty of room for a full hand pull. Please view my enlarged pictures.

SHIPPING POLICY!

My shipping policy is all items will ship out within 24 hours of receiving payment. I ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday every time, if I don’t then you might want to send flowers. If your item is bought on a Saturday and I’m at work I will take it to the post office inside drop off box that day/night so they have it to process first thing Sunday or Monday. I don’t ship with newspaper and a prayer; I use quality materials and care. Newspaper is only used as filler but never as the main source of protection.

I don’t know if this came from a smoke free home or not. The fact is almost all antiques came out of a home that someone smoked in at one time.
