All Carnival Glass from the Golden Age of Carnival (1907-1930) is iridescent pressed glass made in the United States (except where noted), to compete with other American & European high-end glass firms. Each individual piece was poured, tooled, shaped and colored by hand. When the Great Depression hit, the \"pretty glass\" fell out of favor and could no longer be afforded by the general public. With the factories full of glass, they were eventually given away as prizes at carnivals and State Fairs. Carnival Glass is pure, classic Americana. No Two Pieces Are Ever The Same.
