A rarestunning Norwegian solid sterling silver gilt and blue guilloche enamel Vikingboat salt cellar and spoon. It is hallmarked 925 STERLING NORAWY with themaker’s mark of Theodor Olsens Eftf of Bergen and it dates to c1950-60s. It hasbeen beautifully designed in the form of a Viking boat with the sides beingguilloche enamelled and is complete with its original liner. The saltspoon terminal has also been enamelled. Itis in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs.The enamel is free from chips cracks and repairs as is the liner. The boat measures 3.25 inches (8.2cms)long by 1.75 inches (4.4cms) tall and the spoon 2.5 inches (6.2cms) long. Combinedthey weigh 39 grams including the liner. A very nicely designed high quality piece.
