I am sellingareally nice new old stock example of the correct factory 2.25:1 ratio tachometer drive gearbox that fits on the rear of the generator on MG Midgets from 1939 to 1955-- MG TB, MG TC, MG TD, and MG TF. These have not been made bySmithsMotor Accessories in many years and the current crop of 3rd World knock-offs leaves much to be desired. The gearboxhas all of the proper factory markings and is definitely show quality. I did add oil to the part and spun it to be sure it is ready to install. The box is shown for illustration only and is not included in the sale. Good offerding!!
