Amazing 50s or early 60s accessory that I got at Hershey many, many years ago and was going to fit to my own car, but I have now got a winking eye cat instead(!). I am also selling Mac the Winking Eye Turn Signal Dog, but this is what used to be called a \'gonk\' in the 60s. My sister had a big collection of smaller gonks (we were kids in the 60s) and she used to comb their hair. It says in the instructions to this one that you can comb its hair, and I imagine it would look really wild and frizzy if you did.

However, its most amazing feature is that you wire it into your turn signals and its (big, bloodshot!) eyes light up with your turn signals (or your brakes, I suppose, if you wanted them to). Blinky sits on your rear deck just inside the rear window and looks out, and his eyes light up as you turn or brake. Incredible...

I would imagine the bulbs that are supplied are 12V bulbs, as this is a 60s item, but they will only be standard bulbs that are easy to get, so if you have a 6V car it should be very easy to make him work in that - all the electrical parts there are are wiring and the bulbs.

Please look at my detailed pictures for condition information - most of my items are NOS, usually pretty close to perfect condition and with the original box or bag, but sometimes with a little \'patina\' from long storage. This item has its original bag and, unusually for me, I opened it very carefully by bending the staples up, in order to take him out of the bag for the photos. I have also kept the staples, so if you want to staple up the bag again using the same holes without it showing that it has been opened, you can do. It\'s a bit dog-eared in places and the card part at the top is a bit bent and raggedy, but it\'s still in one piece and serviceable.

As ever, the ghastly \'compatibility charts\' should be taken as a GUIDE ONLY - I have listed the cars I *think* the item should fit, but I obviously have no way of viewing each specific vehicle, so if you find that the item does not fit your vehicle (or even that you just don\'t like it!)
