THIS IS A 5 DAY sale. An electronics supply warehouse, called Gunter Wholesale recently closed down after being in business since 1942, here in San Angelo, Texas. Although I\'m not an employee of Gunter Wholesale, I\'ve had free rein to prowl their huge warehouse, and basement for the last 30 something years. Two weeks ago, the manager called me to \"rescue\" anything worth saving, because the building had sold, and many items were simply going to be thrown in the dumpster. I found this Bogen / Lenco high up on a warehouse shelf, forgotten by time. There was also a Thorens E53PA which I have listed on another sale. This Bogen / Lenco was in a sealed box. I only opened it to take pictures. Full disclosure: First, as always, the rubber V tire on the idler arm is as hard as a rock. It will need to be replaced. There are several sellers here who sell the V shaped, knife edge tire. Or you can do as many others do, and replace it with a proper sized O-Ring. I powered it up, to test the motor. The motor works as new, and is whisper quiet. The other issue is that there is the correct quantity of four springs, but only three of the studs which mount the springs. I didn\'t lose one of the studs... it simply wasn\'t in the small paper envelope. One can be made very easily by using parts available at most hardware stores. The rubber slipmat is cosmetically perfect, but it has hardened over the years. Manual is included. Mounting template is inside the manual. The stylus is virgin, and the stylus protector is still snapped in place. Cosmetically, this is a very, very nice unit. offer with confidence. I will pack this unit very carefully. Box within a box.
