This very rare Edwardian novelty thimble shaped whisky tot glass jigger stands 50mm (2\") high x 40mm (1.5\") across the rim and weighs 35 grams. It is fully hallmarked for solid English sterling silver Chester 1906 with the makers mark for the famous silversmith Charles Horner and is engraved around the rim \" Just a Thimbleful \" I have photographed it next to a standard thimble to show the size and this sale is for the large thimble only the standard size small thimble is not included. It is in good antique condition and is a very rare novelty example from perhaps the best known silver thimble maker of the period and is sold with .
